You’re overhyping me -

(Rehoma) #64

The game is currently offline. A new closed beta phase should start “soon” as the devs love teasing us with

(moonlitRapture) #65

so when the servers come back online i should get a beta key for steam right?

(The99thProblem) #66

Indeed, you should.

Not really the right thread to post this in, but yeah :\

With those specs I can only see one thing that might cause some issues: Intel HD 3000 Graphics. That’s not really something you should be gaming on I’m afraid. But, if you can use that very same laptop to play BF:BC2 on, you’re probably good to go on low settings.

(moonlitRapture) #69

ok and sorry for posting that in here

Yea, definitely low settings. Some have said they get better fps when they play in windowed mode instead of full screen. Try your luck.

Good luck mate.

(reliableStarling) #72

Glad you handled that. See (and shoot) you in-game mate!

(deadpanBoss) #75

I have activated the key, and downloaded/Installed the game. upon launch, it begins to launch, then nothing happens.

What can I do?

I stumped Steam support. They told me to:

“Completely exit the Steam client.
Open the run dialogue by pressing windows key + r (you can also navigate here from the start menu by typing run).
Type steam://flushconfig then press enter. (If asked to allow this website to open a program, please click Allow or OK).
Restart your computer.
Now, launch Steam directly from the installation folder, not from a pre-existing shortcut (~C:\program files (x86)\Steam).
The Steam application will either appear as Steam or Steam.exe depending on whether your settings show file extensions.”

And this did nothing.

?

" customersupport@nexon.net. Be sure to include the game title in the subject line, as well as the following information in the body of the email: Character name, server name, account name, description of problem, OS version."

I received two keys yesterday for the closed beta. So, I downloaded steam but I can’t see anyway to download the game at all? Is there a download button? If there is no download button how do I play?

Again the keys I just received today are for the Closed beta?

Thanks

Stated on the first post of this thread:

“You have to open steam then click “Add Game” then “Activate a Product On Steam” and paste the key into the prompted area. Upon successful completion, the game should then be available for download.”

(deadpanBoss) #80

Adult,

It’s been mentioned before that you have to download Steam and “activate a product” to enter your key.

*The beta is almost over and I have been unable to launch and play this game.
