First and foremost, Dirty Bomb has been entirely moved to steam. What this means is that it is completely inaccessible via the use of the Nexon Launcher. So do not go and download the Nexon Launcher, that is how Dirty Bomb (DB) was launched previously. In order to play the game now, you must activate it through steam. If you do not have steam downloaded, please do so as it will serve as the new Launcher of DB. But before you get all panicked because you don’t see the “Download” button on steam there is a very specific way of obtaining access to the game. Because the game is in closed beta, you must obtain a closed beta key. At the moment, keys are given one of two ways. Either, first, you were an active tester while the game was launched using the Nexon Launcher or you have applied for a key and were emailed a key for exclusive beta access. Due to recent posts on the forums, I believe that latter has not been achieved for the newest of applicants. But fret not! With a bit of patience you will be granted a key some time in the near future, when DB is ready to open the gates to more testers! If you have received said key, the instructions on what do next are included in the email. (Be absolutely sure to check your spam folder!) You have to open steam then click “Add Game” then “Activate a Product On Steam” and paste the key into the prompted area. Upon successful completion, the game should then be available for download. Be sure the key you are using is valid! The current steam keys that actually work have been given out on the 6th of January of 2015 or later (to the best of my knowledge). Unfortunately, additional keys for friends and companions have not been provided. If you have not received a key do not panic, just exercise a bit of patience.
