I wonder if the “Move Faster while aiming down sights” Augment works with priming bombs to throw. If so maybe that augment would help your playstyle?

Which is awesome I might add. I definitely want to see if I can incorporate that into how I play.

thx,

the augment shouldnt work, as aiming down the sights and priming a sticky/nade are separate things. Holding a primed ability in your hand is your base speed, so faster than when you ADS.

Thats why the furthest you can throw a sticky is mid-air during long jump, and pretty much fullfills the naders role. Perhaps a little less flexible as you have to jump towards the enemies shooting at you, but you can reach the defenders ramp on final obj from behind the front fence, for example

@Amerika lol obviously I am talking about exactly what everyone else in this thread is discussing, looks like you are the only one who is confused.

So my problem with bank shots followed by following up with your smg is that it sucks because you are aiming all odd directions to bank except for directly at the person you are about to smg down, a distinct disadvantage bc they are already aiming and firing at you…

Honestly I think they should just give her 4 nades that detonate on impact with a slow reload time and just let people rip all 4 off in a row for a mini clusterbomb and see what happens. Maybe take away her primary and just leave a pistol. If anything it would certainly be exciting

The wording of your title + OP can be taken two ways until further clarified and implies that Naders nades do not explode on impact at all. Others mentioned the same thing but we moved along with the thread assuming you meant removing arming time because people are assuming you know what you were asking.

In regards to your suggestion it would basically make her similar to a Panzerfaust in Wolf/ET. Which would be fine if she was balanced with only a pistol, FF was on and limits put on pub servers (similar to how it was mostly handled in the past). But I think the current tweaks she got yesterday made her a decent amount more viable in some situations but she’s one of those classes that if you make her too strong then it’s a nightmare and if she’s too weak few will use (in comp and pubs). I wouldn’t mind seeing a future class basically be a Panzer class though if the same limitations that were used in the past were enforced in DB.

I think another thing we aren’t really considering is that they are going to implement draft mode eventually and if characters or combinations are too powerful people will just ban them if it’s anything like league

Hey I just figured something out. If you have the sticky bomb primed to throw. Holding down mouse click and such. If you press E (detonator) it cancels the animation so you can go back to running without having to switch to your knife. You don’t have to waste time switching to the knife and back to the bomb!

I agree that the title is confusing, impact to me implied player contact the soon I read it.

Having them to explode on impact would be a buff, but also a nerf in different situations - considering grenades that lay around for a bit are still useful for blocking enemy movement.

I would suggest something like:
->Decrease grenade damage by alot
->Increase firerate drastically
->Increase clipsize
->Make grenades explode on impact

That would be most satisfying to me personally. For currently Nader seems poor and most people seem to agree
