Ideas for new meele weapons for Phantom!

Just from the trailer with Phantom i saw him as a sneaky ninja who’s meele would be used a lot and i tough that it would be interesting if he got different types of swords and meeles.

Idea #1
Maybe give him a big long sword which does 90dmg on a normal swing, also the speed that u walk at on a normal swing is 290 and the duration of the swing is 1.8 sec. The heavy swing is a CHARGE and when ur doing the charge ur walk speed is 470 (and to maintain that speed u can only walk forward and if u walk back or to the sides ull walk as fast as u walk when swinging with the katana). While charging you deal 120dmg and the duration of the Charge is 2.1 sec but if you walk to the side the Charge resets. And if u land a headshot with a normal swing ull do 120 dmg and with a Charge ull do 160dmg.

GIVE you’r IDEAS and get creative.

Sidenote:
One-hit-killing stuff is always something hard to balance…

The only one-hit-killing-weapons we have right now are the one Sniperrifle of Vassili and the small pump-action-shotgun.
The sniper OHK everything on a headshot, as far as I know.
The PAS kills like up to 130 health or smth. like that?

So ==> One-hit-killing stuff always must be heavily balanced out and must/should require a certain (=relatively high) amount of skill to OHK, otherwise it’s simple OP.

(that’s my personal view on OHKilling items, don’t hit me :stuck_out_tongue: )

Well yeah i do agree gwith you balancing OHKill weapons isn’t ez but my idea with the long sword is that u should be almost stationary to hit you’r target with it cus ull be moving 2 or even 3x slower when swinging and ussualy ur target’ll be on the move but if u have a better idea of balancing it or just for another meele u can say it.
I still fuly agree with u but that’s just a but of a wild idea.

No sniper can one-hit Rhino or Thunder. this longsword would do way too much damage. You don’t have to move in order to camp a corner.

Well for the dmg i agree it should be lowered but camping a corner wont rly be succesful cause ull have to move to get to ur enemy and as i wrote u would sprint as fast as the Rhino and acctualy even slower than the Rhino. With a sprint of 75 or so. And on a strong swing it should be a 150 or 140 cus i it’s supossed to be a strong weapon but not OP.

But tell if u have a better idea speak ur mind bud. :slight_smile:

A lightsaber. Backstab headshots instagib but the light from the saber renders the RA useless.
