Ideas for dual objective versions of stock maps

Hi,

some ideas for dual objective versions of the stock maps:

Oasis

Fueldump:

Radar:

Actually only mirrored.
But could be interesting.
Although not sure about the final objectives.

Idea:
It’s only possible to do final objective if you have captured the spawns in the right order.
Like one of the UT game modes (not sure how it’s named).

Assault was the name of the UT game mode. :slight_smile:
Sounds good that it will be only possible for a team to win if the spawns was captured in the right order, prevents bypassing.

actually sounds more like onslaught
have to capture al the nodes before you can attack the core at their base.

Nope, you would still have to destroy something in the base.
But before the team is able to get into the base this team must capture all spawnpoints in the correct order.
The other team can recapture the spawnpoints.
So it would be a back and forth.

And how about the sizes of that maps? They will be gigantic (lots of time needed from one side to other) and it’ll be alot of megabytes.

You’ll also need big servers too get enough players filling the map. In my eye’s, it isn’t such a good idea :confused:

Merely mirroring existing maps will probably not be a proper solution. Still, props for nUllSkillZ’ idea.

ever tried one of those maps with 32 players?? you’re getting shoot all the time…

the original maps is best on 16 players anyways… and i like huuuuuge maps…lol
