Ideas for a new map

Dear Forumers,

I am planning to make a new map for ET, I just don’t have any idea for the map. I want to put every kind of stuff into it. If some of you guys give me plenty of tips for a map. Under tips I mean what kind of objectives shall I make how to capture, destroy them etc…

Yesterday I made a cannon that people can use to shoot with it at different targets if they loaded an ammo to it.

Any ideas for the terrain, constructible structures, and everything? Or is there anyone who is working on a map and I could help him?

well, My mod that comes up, The ModernETfront mod. That brings et to todays weapons and forces could really do with some maps in newer style.
City maps as my Apocalypse city, But An Idea for a map could be a Airport held by the axis and the allied had to go in and take the flag and blow up something or as in my map, defuse a bomb…

I think i decided, I think I’ll start working on the Black hawk down map but only at the weekends. Will upload if anything new is in the map and can share .map file if u wish. I start working on it the next saturday.

when I had the Idea for this map earlier, I wanted to make a city a lot like marakesh streets, with a crashed blackhawk in the town_square with an objective in.
Then have a truck somwhere outside to escort into the city to the chopper, fetch the objective and get it on the truck. Then escort it through the streets and out to a safeplace :slight_smile:
but I wont tell you how to do things, I look forward to your map.
If you should need any special model I can try to help you out the best I can :slight_smile:

Well, you mentioned that blackhawk. There is a great model in Call of Duty Modern Warfare, But I don’t think that I could use that.

Don’t know how detailed I’m gonna go really… I will texture it as it is atm first and have a look…
