[Idea] Mission Reroll

(JesseKomm) #1

So I’ve been thinking, and this may be a very popular idea, that there should be an option to reroll ONE of your missions within a certain timeframe of them resetting(Say 20 minutes as example). What this would mean is if you get an undesired mission(Like Win x Competitive Matches) you can cancel it, and if you are within the timeframe you will receive a new random mission that isn’t based on the one you abandoned, it will also be the same tier(i.e. worth 500, 750, 1000 credits) as the the one you removed.

Now this should only be allowed once per reset so as to not be too abused, players should have to decide if they need to use it or not instead of basically refreshing their whole list whenever they want. It also will not work on any mission which has progress already on it.

Let me know what you think about this suggestion, is it too much, too little, or juuuust right? Thank you for reading and have a nice day! <3

This has actually been brought up before once and many people agree it’s a great idea.

Ah, well I had not seen it on the first few pages of General Chat, sorry.

delete.

They’ll maybe implement it. I don’t like the idea but people feel like they need because they can’t wait 3 hours and need to do every mission. Or they’ll die.

Gotta min/max them creds man, it’s the only thing I live for!

@laudatoryLunch It’s fine for people who have all day to play, they can just wait for the next cycle. A lot of the time I find I have a couple of hours in the evening to play on work days to play, and it really bums me out when I log on and find I have “Play X competitive mission(s)” or “Complete X secondary objectives” etc. because I really don’t like those missions at all. It would be nice to re-roll 1 per 3 hours, honestly. Don’t forget, many will be in the same situation… :L

Log in in the morning and delete missions you don’t like. Same thing before going to sleep. In general - remember when missions change and use that to you advantage.

I’m at home at 8am when new missions arrive, so I log in just before it, delete unwanted missions, wait for new ones and delete again if needed. This way when I come back from work I have missions I want

That isn’t always the ideal solution for everyone. If you’re playing for a long period of time and going through multiple resets you’d want to be able to replace an undesired mission right then and there.

True dat. But you can at least make the first set of missions how you want them. Just spelling it out in case someone didn’t think of that.

I mean, technically it will be nice, but you know, it will lead to more cherrypicking threads.
