something along the lines of escort this car to this push plate, or to do it faster, have 5 guys on the push plate.

How would this objective be won though? Seems more like a secondary objective to open up an additional route thing rather than a main objective.

Yes it needs to be part of an objective. Not as a secondary route but as a main route. The primary goal is to ‘lock’ the objective into the right place.

So there’s this open/close bridge, once it’s down a engineer can construct a lock on the other side and keep it there.

The idea is to have a highly dynamic and interactive scenario for players to fight in.
