Id Pay for Wolfenstein Maps Converted

(linkin90) #1

I know there are probably a lot of topics on map conversions…but if maps such as beach and some other Wolfenstein maps were converted to enemy territory by Splash Damage, they can release it as a new game on the shelves or a download that costs money, cause id pay money for them. Enemy Territory is perfect the way it is set up, and the maps rule, but maps such as the beach from Wolfenstein are still awesome!

Dittos, I would love to see just two more, three mission campaigns added (be cool if one took place totally at night), put it in a box and a 24.99USD price range (cause I’d have to buy two copies, one for me and one for my bro).

:beer: :beer:

Bah I’ve played those maps to death in clan matches and still play them, I’m so bored of them so I hope I never see them in ET. They’re not bad, just played em too much.

close your eyes Lanz :lol:

Wow. Beach, arguably the best map made by Nerve for RTCW, and updated to be prettier in ET. What a novel concept. Is that your work Night, and what did you use to make it if so?

Added: Playing around with the urls, the other screenshots seem overly dark. The legality of it all is quite questionable, as well.

Wahh NightWulf. Traitor!! :wink:
I will tell the german mappers about this!. :wink:

did you make that conversion? if so, where can I download it?

@fiesling: lol

i have no plans on releasing this map. It`s just a test area for the new et mapping features.

Well I’m sure somebody will at some point! :banana:

Beach looks awesome like that, and even I have had my fill of it.

Don’t forget the legalities of re-releasing a map by someone else without their (written) permission. + The fact that ET has a different gameplay to RtCW due to satchel charges, mortars, covet ops, mines etc which could potentially disrupt the maps gameplay.
