Icons don't display properly on multi-layer command maps

I know this issue has been raised before, but there was no answer in the previous thread. I have a 3-level command map. The layers change appropriately depending on where the player is – however, the objective icons, only show up on the first level map. Is there any fix?

Oddly enough, I used a 2-level command map for Byzantine, and all the icons only show on the top level - where there were all located

Seeing how this thread topic has been started several times and no one has been able to get it to work, and none of the official maps actually use it, I vote that it is a bug in the code.

Kind of a pisser because it makes maps with a nice vertical dimension hard to navigate. I guess we fall back to plan B

Maybe the only thing to do is to make sure we put something in the objective description like: “Level 2 <Objective>” to tell players what level it is…

It IS a bummer though we can’t use that properly.

I was also thinking about listing the objectives, grid coords, and level in the margins of my command map. Kind of cheesy but it would be effective.

bah - now I have to figure out how to make a 4 level CM not so confusing
