I want to know how many Phantoms are in the enemy team so I know whether I should quit or not.
I wish we could see what mercs are on the ENEMY team while in the lobby.
This. It was annoying before, now it’s just needed. I don’t want to join a game (and consequently lose time) where a team dominate because it have a pro phantom. I’d rather join another game instead.
You do realise that that is the entire point of locking the teams before showing them and not allowing us to change them in-game before the round starts right?
I had assumed that it was so one team couldn’t just counter pick mercs to nullify the enemy team. Not that I think it would ever happen in pubs.
Yeah for this reason I’d really like to be given a second change to change class in-game. Like when you join a game that’s already started.
Then show them when you lock the loadout. If you don’t like your opponents, you can just bounce out. Beside, i can see the issue for competitive play, but if it’s just non-competitive games it would be nice.
Well in theory you could tell your team what they have. I agree in casual play it really doesn’t matter though.
There’s nothing stopping you bouncing out in the 10 seconds where it says match starting though, it shows both team’s loadouts then.
yeah the idea is that you have to pick a diversity of mercs so that you will have a nice balance and variety of mercs to counter what mercs the enemy chose.

Not when i join an already started match tho, in that case you don’t see your opponent’s merc until the game started (which mean you have to wait the whole loading process in the meantime). This is probably a bug that should get fixed.
Huh, that’s true, never thought about that. It should show you once you hit deploy.
