Am I alone? I have plenty ideas for balancing and the like, as well as relatively original merc ideas, which I think fit well into the game, and I don’t have a job either… I don’t mean to sound like 90% of the gamers on the Internet who say this, but I do believe I could help them out a bit. Does anyone else feel this way?

If all you have to offer is ideas, nobody will hire you. That’s just how it is… why to hire a guy with ideas if programmers, artists, map designers etc. have ideas as well.

offering your 2 cents on the forums about the game can help but a real job, you would need a degree for that. but its not impossible though i suppose, given you had the right stuff but there’s other companies i would pick before this one to work for lol

no I don’t think a degree in Underwater Basket Weaving will get you in Splash Damage
