So my other discussion was closed for what I assume was no activity but I was on vacation so I’m gonna continue it

Someone said why I’d have cheat engine and have no intent on using it. I did not have any intent on using it on Dirty Bomb but me being me I love to mess around once I have finished a game, buy all early upgrades best weapons but on single player games ONLY. I don’t want to repeat myself so if you want more info the link to my other discussion is above.

I totally understand this.
it’s like this. Its allowed to have a gun. you keeping it in your hand, not using it. and you get arrested for murder.
(Having cheat engine open but not using it)
never heard of a warning. he dude, you have a gun in your hand. please put it down before you log in.
(Games like World of warcraft give a warning when you start the game)

Cheat engine is a legal program used by many people. not only for hacking. but to test things. (like single player games,)
my pc automatically starts cheat engine on windows boot, most of the days I don’t use it.
is it even legal for them to watch what your pc is running? PRIVACY? maybe?

It is completely legal to check what is running on your PC. You agreed to it when you downloaded the game. Remember the Terms & Conditions you were told to read but most likely didn’t? You gave your permission.

Quite a few civilized countries dis allow you to have a gun, and do arrest you if they find one in your posession, even in countries where they are legal, they might prohibit you from bringing one (especially unlocked and loaded) to public events, arresting or fining you if you do.

And yes it is legal. Its called an End User License Agrement by making an account/playing the game you agreed to it, giving them the permision to monitor your PC for violations of said EULA, cheating is such a violation.

Btw. you can disable a program from starting with windows via taskmanager.

If you are not a hacker, don’t install hacks. The fact that you are a hacker makes me want to be the GM that bans you.

God damn you’re clueless.
I guess you guys don’t understand. I already sent in a ticket but whoever was responding to my call for help was them self no help. I explained everything but even though they made a mistake “Nah, we’re not gonna unban you”. This really pisses me off because robots or staff that don’t read won’t be helping anyone.

THAT’S BECAUSE YOU SHOULDN’T EVEN HAVE HACKS ON YOU! READ MY LIPS! IF YOU AREN’T GOING TO HACK, THEN YOU WOULDN’T EVEN HAVE THEM INSTALLED.

Except they didn’t make a mistake. You had a tool running that was known to be used to evade anti-cheat systems. No matter what you were using it for, you were making the mistake by having it running in a game that has anti-cheat protection.

I am closing this thread. Please appeal any bans via Nexon Support.
