I totally called a lot of Hunter's mechanics... And his name.

I made THIS POST -> forums.dirtybomb.com/discussion/37898/new-merc-shikari several months ago (before Hunter was announced) and I could help but notice that there are several similarities to my idea on Hunter.
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST, AS THERE ARE CHANGES MADE IN THE COMMENTS TO THE MERC

THE NAME

My merc’s name was “Shikari” which is derived from the Hindi word shikaaree which means…
HUNTER

THE BOW
While my idea was for a compound bow, the way it works is pretty similar. It even spot the target that you hit like my idea.

THE LORE
My lore is distinctly different, but both were hunters before they decided to become a mercenary. That’s definitely why the name is technically the same.

SO WHAT’S DIFFERENT?
Well for one immediate thing, Shikari is Bengali. Hunter is American.
Hunter uses a crossbow built into a prosthetic arm, Shikari uses an electric compound bow.
Shikari appears to be faster, and use lighter weaponry aside from his bow, forcing him to rely on it more.
Shikari has an additional ability for him to spot other players and deployables by hearing them.
Shikari is cooler

So basicaly the assasin from lawbreakers. Though inwouldnt know how i feel about a merc that can graple another player and mele super fast like the assasin

I actualy liked the game but i got tired of the long waits to start a match. Im expecting nexons new adventure hyperverse to fail as well everything nexon has there hands on suffers. Im so glad sd bought nexons half of db cuz sd is doing way more faster with out nexon keeping them on a short leash.

Though i do feel bad that from what i heard, aledgedly our beloved @MissMurder and @RazielWarmonic was laid off from nexon. Hense why @RazielWarmonic has been on twitch so much lately

I heard about Raz but didn’t know they canned MM, shame…so many good community managers I’ve seen canned because of inept actions completely out of their control.

JordyGamerGirl was dropped too, I don’t know what Nexon thinks they’re doing rn, they left Combat Arms after 8(?) years, and now games like LB are dying and it’s just sadness, I’m glad SD escaped the pit
