It could potentially be a skill a new merc has (or given to a merc already in game).
Like Phantom.

Reintroducing throwing knifes ? Simple task if you want my opinion.

How about turning some of the non katana loadouts into throwing knife loadouts?
I thought it would be more for gibbing, I wouldn’t expect the damage to be too high, or if it was high, then you would need to compound it with a long draw time, throw time, and cooldown, because it is meant to be a gimmick and not a viable alternative to a primary.
A bit of fun, so have it be a very situational yet fun thing, like a defib kill.
