I think that now it's a good time for everyone to enable their credit boosters

(frostyvampire) #1

By how it was going so far, we barely had a break. In the past 3 months we had 3 different events (shock shell, final assault and ghostclip), 2 new mercs (Javelin and Turtle) and 2 crafting weeks.

Don’t forget that we were promised a new merc every 1.5 months so we should get a new merc somewhere in October too, and we will probably get an event with that merc too.

So I think now it’s the best time to start enabling all of our credit boosters that we got in arsenal crates and had nothing to do with for the last year. I might be slow on realizing it but oh well

always activate credit booster after receiving.

Not really. Keep at least one in reserve for double credits events.

I wish, haven’t seen a double credit event in ages.

There was one just recently, lol. True they’re pretty rare, but it usually doesn’t hurt to save one

You’re telling me there are people out there who don’t have credit boosters enabled at all times? I can’t remember the last time I haven’t had one up.

(ImSploosh) #7

The worst part is that we don’t have a way to obtain credits at a decent rate anymore. The “daily rewards” are terrible and mostly pointless so we’re stuck with 4500 credits per week at most.

Anyways, I used to save my credit boosters in anticipation for a double-credit event, but it’s been a long time since the last one, think almost or over a year. I activated them all at once a couple months ago and now I have 90 or so hours of credit boosting!

I was saving them for double credits event so I now have (I’m not 100% sure about the numbers since I don’t have my game open but it should be pretty close to what I actually have) 5x 6 hour boosters, 2x 12 hours, 7x 1 hour, 2x 3 hours and 1x 18 hours and I have 6 hours of double credits active.

Maybe I should’ve just activated them but oh well

How would y’all feel about being able to purchase credits in the store? Just a quick thought and I imagine it’s been talked about on here before. Every time an event rolls around I wish I had that option, but Idk if I’m overlooking a way it could be considered unfair or P2W. They’d have to make the rates comparable to the cost of mercs. If a 50k credit merc costs 10 bucks, they could sell credits at the rate of 10k for 2 bucks. I’d like this for crafting and these case events.

Guess im a no life mofo as i got boosters on all the time. I usually lvl up before they expire. And the next arsenal crate most likely drops one

I gathered 50+ hours in boosters, realized that’s a bit much and started activating them. For a long, long time I constantly had a booster active. But last few level-ups didn’t grant me any so now I only have a single 6h booster waiting for a double credit event.

I gathered 180 hours in boosters, realized that the shop does not offer anything I want and still haven’t activated them.

To be perfectly honest I occasionally activate boosters during ranked season because AFAIR ranked games already have an increased credit rate which boosters increase even further.

It would be kinda pointless considering everything you can buy with credits is also available with real money anyways, lol.

What we REALLY need is the option to buy credit boosters with credits.

I’m sitting on 132 hours… If only I could activate them compoundingly. (I wanna get 5x credit rate… :disappointed: )
Proof -

!

Already used about 8-10 wrenches… crafting kits I get to whenever I got 10 of them and 20k fragments.

Well, what about the regular equipment cases? That’s pretty much what I’m getting at. I’d like to be able to buy those in bulk - especially when they’re converted into event cases.

You guys have spare boosters?

Might as well just spend the money on a couple credit boosters and an elite case though.
Making equipment cases cheap enough to be worth buying makes credit boosters a lot less useful to most people. Any more expensive than that, and it’s usually more worth it to buy elite cases when you consider the droprates.

idk… i’m being robbed of my time if I activate boosters. The game seemingly knows to do errors and lock ups I cannot recover from when they’re on. I’m so pissed off playing Stopwatch only to lose 28minutes of playtime to an unknown error on the 28th minute.

Well you can… go to “Ghostclip” tab in the “SHOP” section. They can be bought at 10 cases for 10k credits and they have 2% chance to drop a ghost card.

Edit: Just… no discount or anything.

@Xenithos and @STARRYSOCK , for cash. 2 bucks for 10k credits. I’d pay for that occasionally when I’m bored. I don’t see any harm in letting us purchase credits if they’re comparable to the same rates as mercs in the shop. As for events, you get a 10% chance for one of these Ghostclip or any event skins for 5 bucks in elite cases. That’s 50 bucks per skin if we’re to go off of averages and exclude the 20$ and 35$ bundles with the guaranteed bonus case(s).

Whereas 50 bucks of credits at the rate of 2$ for 10k (the same rate of a 50k merc as I mentioned above in another post) would give you 250k credits or 250 regular cases. At 2% drop rate, you’re looking at 2 or 3 event skins on average - and in my experience the rates for these aren’t 2%. They feel more like 5% to me, but that’s all anecdotal. Sure, you’re gonna end up with a lot of lead and iron garbage, but I still think it would be fun. Hard to estimate how many fragments you’d end up with one route or the other, but I’d assume you’d net more from recycling your pulls from 250 cases instead of 10 higher tiered ones. All it’d take was a handful of silvers or golds from those and you’re looking at a nice chunk of fragments.

Beyond that, I just think it’d be convenient and nice to have this as an option. Maybe not the most practical option, but it’s a time saver. When you’re out of credits, you’re out of credits and there’s no quick way around that. Really, though, who wouldn’t have fun opening 250 cases instead of 10? I’m sure there’s plenty of psychology crap behind this too. Just look at penny machines and scratch-off cards.
