I think Healing Station has been nerfed.

Dirty Bomb twitter account tweeted about Aura Healing Station.

“A deployable healing station that slowly regenerates health of nearby friendly players even during combat.”

Could be nothing. But the healing station in the previous beta tests has been no where near slow.

Only a few more days to find out. I am sure SD have collected a whole bunch of statistics on this and other abilities in the game and made changes accordingly.

As has been stated in other threads, with the right Merc’s its easy to negate the healing station.

I honestly don’t think they kept the ‘slowly’ there without any nerf, considering that previous station brought you to full health in less than 2 seconds.

Here is a thought, why not make the healing station give out a big heal but on a timed pulse.

So every 15 seconds it will heal for x amount. This will allow players to actively judge when the best time to engage is. Also it will stop allies just sitting on top of the station.

Probably a bit late to implement such a thing but a different twist on the healing station

that would sound a lot like Phoenix’ healing pulse
I like that there’s such different mechanics

this was proposed already on multiple occassions : )

also: every 15sec is way too long. Phoenix’s pulse is around 10-12 seconds or sth, and it feels incredibly slow on cooldown.

station still heals to full in about 2 secs. still takes two heavy stabs to kill. its pretty crazy.

In addittion to a pulse to slow the darn thing down - id like to see its AOE reduced to a very small area that could fit only 2 characters standing almost on top of each other. atm its such a wide area 4 or 5 players can easy stay in the AOE retaining enuf space for movement to dodge and avoid damage (or just around a corner) stepping out to fire and ducking back in to get fully healed in 2 secs.

or perhaps make it that if u take damage the station needs a few secs to start healing again - like sawbones medpacks stop healing u if u take damage.

i kno in the future there will be “merc to combat different mercs” but atm the station still seems well OP.
