I need opengl 3.1, but I tried downloading the software and it says I don’t have a good enough driver or something like that.

The 3450 should support OpenGL 3.1
I guess updating your drivers would fix it

(silenthero) #4

I can play now, but how do I increase the fps (it’s really bad.)

(Smoochy) #5

get nvidia :frowning:

or try one of the config utilities (i think brink configurator is the best) and turn down graphical settings.

hopefully 11.7 will fix brink but you never know! :frowning:

(Nail) #6

your system is just above minimum specs, it will run slow

(silenthero) #7

How do I increase the specs. I’m not a computer genius by the way.

(Mustang) #8

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but system specs refer to what hardware you have
So to increase your specs means upgrading your hardware
Interested to know why you went with 6gig of RAM, but only a 3450

The shoestring upgrade would be a new graphics card, for Brink you’re better off looking at nVidia, the gtx460 and gtx560 are popular choices at the moment
These would be semi-future-proof and there wouldn’t be much point in getting anything more powerful as your CPU would still be holding you back

Hinted at above, but the more expensive route would be to look at getting a new PC
A 2.6GHz Core2 Duo doesn’t cut it with many of the latest games
Again a popular choice of CPU would be an i5 2500

My parents bought this computer I’m saving my money for a better one. Also Will Nvida work because I have an
AMD Radion Hd.
