Thank you, anyways, I hate it when people do that. Why don’t you blame the person on the bottom of the leader board? I mean, I’m taking out healers, big HP mercs, etc. (I know sometimes people join games late, and that’s why they are at bottom. But if the persons been here the whole game. More likely they aren’t obj focusing. And maybe they are, we never know.)

its not so much what youre doing, its the class youre playing. Vasili, is, honestly pretty worthless.

Yeah his spotting is nice, youre shooting medics and lowering merc HP and such, but if you were sparks youd be doing the same thing, but better because you can revive, heal, snipe, self heal, have a sniper with infinite ammo, smg, and sidearm

Sounds like you could benefit from seeing a good Vassili in play.

I’d argue that perfectly placed heartbeat-sensors completely shuts down, at least, one lane of approach and turning it into a killing field. Usually with rapidly gibbed bodies as a bonus.

Most mercs shine in the hands of good players, but in all fairness, a really good Vassili will completely dominate. True, it was far worse before with the instant gibs, still very potent.

If you don’t see the point, you’ve never seen a Vassili who knows what they’re doing, simple as that. :wink:

This is exactly why Sparks needs a major nerf, specifically her Revivr. It should not be capable of being the perfect sniper rifle, precise hipfiring, can shoot semi-auto (2-3 shot kills at the same speed, if not faster, than the PDP, and 1-shot headshot. Plus, she’s extremely faster and can actually move a decent amount while aiming. She can dodge shots, while Vassili can’t do so well most of the time, especially facing against her.

It just makes no sense why she’s so powerful. It would be nice to see a big nerf to her Revivr. She’s not a sniper. She also shoots much faster than the bolt-action rifles while doing the same damage. It just annoys me. If she’s not nerfed, then Vassili should be buffed quite a bit.

The only downside to her is less health, but honestly, I prefer the increased movement speed. When playing at mid-long range and even close range, the movement speed is a major advantage.

But what do I know. All of the Sparks users would whine their ass off because they think I’m wrong. Sure, she takes some getting used to, but that’s nothing. I’m surprised she hasn’t been nerfed yet. Has no one else noticed this? lol

More on topic: I absolutely hate when people get mad, blame you for losing, try to kick you, or whatever else for playing Vassili. He’s capable of a lot of things and people don’t realize what he can do and what he does in games. Even if you’re not great at headshotting, it’s easy to hit a fragger, rhino, or thunder in the body and get them down in health, which does a lot for taking them off the front lines. You can also finish off targets easily if they’ve taken any damage. You can gib down targets instantly, before teammates even get the chance (very useful when facing good medics). You can show everyone where the enemy is, basically what Daergar said^.

Also, something that is surprisingly useful, being just a general nuisance for the other team. They won’t want to go near you, or they’ll try to out-snipe you with their SMG and will become easy pickings for your teammates. There’s so much you can do with a Vassili that people will never give credit for. It’s sad. :frowning:

I once had a team try to kick me 4 times moments after I joined an Execution game simply for playing Vassili. The first round after I joined, I did good. However, after trying to kick me and complaining, I was just running around jumping and dying to mess with them. It pissed them off more which made me really happy. :slight_smile: I could have been a great help if they would have just let me. :wink:

Lel, it was higher levels of 10 to 20, and some, and there, lower levels. And my teammates had scores of 3k…Just in the beginning of match.

@Balto Vassili worthless? I strongly disagree. He has the best spotting ability in the game, that for example can completely shutdown a flank. Being mobile, throwing HBS and remembering that you have a frickin machine pistol you can absolutely wreck. If you can snipe, that is.

Unfortunately this kind of Vassili is about as common as successful shuffle votes.

Instead we get tons of low levels wax figures that occupy lowest positions on the scoreboard. Seriously, I bet if you calculated an average level of players using non-free non-rotation mercs, Vassili would have the lowest average.

I’d say Red Eye’s goggles are on par with the HBS because

a.) they aren’t limited to one area
b.) they can be activated at any time
c.) they effectively have no cooldown
d.) their spots last longer
e.) the only time they can’t be used is if your dead

Their only downside is how they require a line of sight to be effective. Other than that, I agree with everything you just said.

im sorry but no matter how good you are, even if literally every shot you get is a headshot with 100% aimbot accuracy, you simply will not be as useful as a sparks just because you cannot support as much as a medic and also cannot help in a push as much as a medic

everyone hates on the vassie because there are so many bad vassie players fresh out of COD, CS, BF and such, thinking they are such pro mlg noscope quickscope what have you, so everyone instinctively hates on the vassie, whether you play good or not, telling you to play the objective while ignoring the stoker running around shooting enemies and throwing molotovs, because that’s what they do, not the objective, but noooo, f*ck vassies, right? they are either n00bs or hackers. that’s the mindset most of the time.
