I quite frankly do not care how much you want to play with your friends. If people are allowed to pre-stack the teams, it’ll result in even more lopsided games of DB than are already happening. The average player experience should be prioritised, even if it means teams of buddies might have to play against each other. If you want to stack teams, go play competitive.
I just want to play with my friends on the same team!
I do as well but my friends hate it. They literally just rage quit if after a couple of times of killing them.

Then you have the wrong friends. They either should be the same skill level or they have to be humble enough to let you teach them to your level.
I’m self taught and I met many people under my skill level that just have wanted to learn and were humble. Now we’re a small group of humble skilled players. Teaching each other everything we can.
PS:If you do feel like learning some tricks and play with a buddy or two, just PM me and we’ll gladly arrange something.
Play “competitive” mode as a party. Don’t be afraid of it, after few matches the game will be able to throw you against a team with similar skill level.

They’re close to my skill level but that doesn’t matter, they hate dying period and when I’m the one doing it they’re pretty unhappy about it.
Sadly I’m in Australia so I can’t play with anyone anywhere
