I just want to play Brink online with my friends (xbox 360)

Brink does a lot of things right, and a handful of things wrong. The biggest issue for me, by far, is the inability to make sure my friends and I can find a game together. I’ve seen the requests for prematch lobbies, but I don’t really care about that. This is what I want, as specificly as I can state it:

  1. I want Brink to search for a match that my entire party can join (not just the party member who initiates the match search), and all be on the same team.

  2. If Brink can’t find a suitable match, I want it to create a new match with all my party members on the same team, and then allow other players to join that match.

That’s it. If this one issue can be fixed, I can ignore all the other minor irritants, because Brink really is a blast to play.

Don’t worry. SD is working as hard as possible to make it so that everyone on Brink can play with their party. I heard they’re making a HUGE TEAM BATTLE playlist. Where it’s 100v100, that way there’s no way you won’t be able to invite all of your friends!!!one!1!

Hopefully this will be added as an update down the road. One suggestion you might try is initially chose a map that is not as often chosen, like Reactor or Refuel. (Both great maps) Or Terminal even. Set the specific map and give it a go that way. I hear what you are saying though. It’d be better to have an easier way to do it. Keep the faith, it will get resolved is what I think.

It may. I’m not entirely clear on the function of lobbies. If so, great. However, it seems like my request would be simpler to implement.

Well, when i think about CoD (please no hate), they had this feature where you invited friends into a lobby and you would go into the prematch lobby all together. But what I really want is the PRE-MATCH lobby, not the party lobby. I want to be able to wait for a game to fill up and then start. That is, i start a match 8 on 8 and not start a match with a few play and HOPE that it fills up eventually.

That would be ideal, but I’ll settle for just being able to get my whole party in the same match, on the same team.
