last weekend every single match I played was a hopeless loss. Could not complete one objective and could not prevent the enemy from completing one as well. But after a string of losses I get into one match where things are starting to look up for me. My team and I got the c4 armed and we protected it well, it blew up and I knew this was finally my time to win! I rushed through to the other side feeling optimistic aaaaaand my game crashes. So I just turn off my computer, turn on my PS4 and go on a killing spree in GTA V.

i see some really tough names on the opposite team, so bad luck for you to get matched up against veterans. This last two beta builds very experimental regarding the matchmaking so no surprise it missed the mark few times. Also, players were mostly new, so the game had very little stats on individual performances.

Lastly some tips:
Arty’s main weapon is one of the few that greatly benefit from aiming down the sights. Go ADS aim for the head and pick them from a distance.

You’ve always used both your artillery charges at the same time on the same place. Its unlikely that more than 1 will make a difference: either someone is caught of guard and dies, or they notice the strike and fallback - so the second one becomes wasted. Try to spread them out in space/time (sometimes you can purposefully delay the second strike so that players will try to assume the position that was just blasted - only to be shot again).

You don’t have to use the RMB to finish people off with the knife.

Hopefully you don’t take it the wrong way when I tell you that based off the video you linked, my non sugar coated impression is that your aim is awful. If you want more success in the next phase, my suggestion is that in the current off time between Dirty Bomb betas, might want to try playing some other competitive FPS games to get your mousing skills up to par.

That shouldn’t really be relevant if matchmaking was working properly. He should be matched up against players of similar skill level. And if that’s not possible due to low player pool, he should have someone on his team to counter the better players of the opposing team.

The artillery strike sometimes just doesn’t make sense to me, sometimes I sit there and its green and it makes the clicking noise and nothing happens. Or sometimes its red and the airstrike will just happen.
