Because they don’t pander to the lowest common denominator and your personal skill generally matters more than the weapons you are using or the perks you have equipped, maybe?

I have not put any serious time into any FPS since about 2006. Dirty Bomb brought me back. It has been built from the ground up with the idea that this was going to be a shooter that was controlled with a mouse and keyboard and it plays like it. That is so incredibly rare these days and I love the game for it.

Completely agree. I haven’t played an FPS this fun since W:ET, and currently ET is only ahead because of the sheer variety of gameplay and mods. Excited to see what DB has to offer down the road.
