The voting rework would be something like removing vote shuffles and making vote kicks easier to succeed. I also think that vote kicks should have an (optional) reason that you are kicking the player. Options may be something like this:
- Player is AFK
- Player is Cheating
- Player is Spamming
- No Reason Given

I disagree with most of what you want, but don’t see that as warranting a disagree mark on your post. You have a decent and well-written list of points, and even if I disagree with most of your points, I value your effort in organizing and sharing them, so thank you for that.
That said, I just want to point out that I especially and specifically disagree with that reason #3 for kicking someone. That is something I would like to never make it into the game. If a player is spamming, you can mute them. End of problem.
I’m also disinclined to replace it with a phrase like “Player is Toxic”, since that’s contextual and likely subject to abuse in its own. “Player not playing the way I want them to? Toxic!” “Player yelled on voice comm once? Toxic!”
Instead of no reason given being acceptable, also, I feel there should have to be a reason, always. And it should stay in record, for SD to see (not other players). That way if there are players with particularly bad histories of exploiting bugs in public matches against players’ requests, there will be a history and it could be used as a reason for banning or muting them for lengths of time. The history would also be there in case anyone wants to get a little too creative and abusive with their reason for kicking (using derogatory/racist language), then it would be in history as well. There is a huge difference between witch-hunting and holding people accountable for their actions.
