Top 20 mofos
Funny, I just read a Kotaku article that said Dirty Bomb’s opening video was bad, and the game was good, but not great. He is also Australian and said that noone was playing which I find funny, because back in closed beta the servers were always full, and now it’s in Open Beta, the game should be way more jam packed.
Maybe he has got a solid point though, maybe Dirty Bomb needs to make much more of an effort to introduce new players. I knew what I was getting into, but a lot of naive young gamers expect to be good at games, and this could very well be their first MP game, at which they would be turned off forever as they preceded to get rekt.

Kotaku is full of shitty articles though, I wouldn’t take what they say seriously.
That said, new players coming in should expect the game to not be like CoD or Battlefield, but an old school romp.
Maybe the best thing would be a better tutorial
Kotaku is an absolute joke. I have never read an article and found it to be accurate in the game.
Kotaku is just a bunch of blogger- Oh, I mean, “journalists” that just love to generate clickbait articles and whine about anything that doesn’t fit their political agenda to get even more clickbait.
Avoid them like plague.
Anyway, happy to see so much players in Dirty Bomb.
10k people spreading the word about how the servers, matchmaker etc. are broken. Yes, open beta is a great idea!
This is true for the beginning of almost every Beta of the last 5 years. The only ones that didn’t have this issue were the ones that had the “Does ANYBODY even play this game!?” issue. And generally it is fixed in the first week or two of Beta.
