Humble Bundle Code?

Hey all, I was wondering when you buy the humble bundle do you get a code you redeem or is it simply linked to whatever steam account you have?
You see, I am unable to buy it online (for various reasons) but I do have some steam skins. My trusted friend is willing to buy it for me in return for skins. The only problem might be if it is steam linked…

Contact Humble Bundle support. Not Nexon. You purchased this from Humble Bundle and they provide you the code.
