Hm, exciting! Can’t wait to try it out!
[HUDEdit 2.0.1] The Software to Modify Your HUD! - NOW WITH UHD SUPPORT!
I tried 2 times exactly as in this guide and i get nothing. I load the game and normal hud is still there, nothing is changed.
Don’t take this as a offense or anything, but are you 100% positively, absolutely sure you made your ShooterUI.ini file “Read-only”? Because that sounds exactly like that kind of an issue.

This is typically what happens when the game releases an update; the shooterui.ini is changed to match the new version.
Two solutions:
1 Set your shooterUI.ini you got from HUDEdit to read-only
2 Replace the text below from your generated ShooterUI into the game’s ShooterUI
This is the text:
From
[ShooterGame.SGUIHUDPlayer]
To
m_bEnableHudShake=true
I’ve got pretty much everything where I wanted, but at least Phantom’s cloak meter is pushed to lower left side. I only moved minimap, hp/ammo and abilities.
Edit: Now my game looks like I’m playing on potato settings despite me not changing anything.
Edit2: Now it’s back to normal again. Maybe this one will do the trick. Took only 10~ tries ^^

When you say you game looks like potato settings, it might have to do with render resolution settings in the options on the main menu of the game. Make sure that resolution is set to 100, and that it is turned OFF at 30th not 60, that way it doesn’t try to auto proc if it feels like it. Make sure you don’t touch FOV.

I did not touch any of the settings. This happened after editing the HUD. Only happened one more time few days ago, otherwise everything is good now.
Edit: I found the reason, probably has nothing to do with hud edit. But I was wondering, is it possible to make downed teammate icons red or any other noticeable color? I sometimes have trouble noticing the icon among the chaos.
I’ve added this guide as the new guide for “Phoenix You’re doing it wrong” in the section about Centered Huds. The version on Steam. Will be contacting moderators soon to try and update the seriously not updated Phoenix guide on these forums. Thanks for your work Xyfurion.
@Xyfurion Do you have an up-to-date list, which hud elements are affected by not showing up at the same position in-game as they do in your editor?
Not sure if it’s been said before, but for some reason this program isn’t launching, even after running it as Admin. Do I need to do something beforehand?

Well, see, that’s the thing. They do match up, and I’m using the proper architecture according to my Java as well. Curious.
Hi Rokon, please give me a few more details other than the program not launching. What version of Windows are you using, and did you download and install 32 or 64 bit java, the correct one for you? Also, I have a video on the first page that includes detailed setup instructions for you.

I’m using Windows 10 64-bit, along with a 64-bit version of Java. I grabbed the correct one as well. Running HUDEdit as Admin also doesn’t seem to do anything for me. I’ll look at the video and report my success with it.
It also doesn’t work for me, tried both versions, after double-click, nothing happens…
@Rokon2 @iamkrashek I mean, this is not a fix, but if you want, you can test out HUDEdit Version 3 for me and make your HUD with that. The link is here.
If you run into any problems, please contact me on discord: “[OCB] Xyfurion#0358”
Keep in mind though, it is an InDev version, so it may well be riddled with hidden bugs.
Umm i started playing db again and i tried making my own HUD again but it doesnt work. I changed the ShooterUI.ini file with the new one, even did it 3 times for good measures but my hud in-game didnt change.
The problem might be that i have an older version that i downloaded a year ago or so…
Well the new forums has fucked the formatting.
With regards to HUDEdit 3.0, it’s on hold for now until I get the motivation to actually work on it.
