I use expression encoder to record (not done yet though) as we get a free copy through MSDN at work. I use MSI Afterburner but didn’t know it had a recording thing, will have to check it out.

So how does ping compensation work? I remember back in RTCW days playing a spanish clan and the difference between a 30 and 70 ping being considerable.

I think the server distributes out any lag across multiple player so the server can run smoother. No idea honestly though, just picking at straws.

Hit detection is clientside so that prossibly adds to some of the “shot whilst under cover” issues.

Didn’t want to create a new thread so adding in here. I seem to be getting a lot more round the corner hits and no-hits etc. I had one on WC but tbh the angle was off so I couldn’t get a proper screenshots.

I wouldn’t trust the ghosts as they are right now, we know there are some issues with the tracer between ghosts sometimes going through walls and looking incorrect.

Is my death ghost position determined from the point of view of me or my enemy?

I’m guessing it’s from me, perhaps it should be from enemy.
