how uch damage l will the bayonet have ?

i just found out the game had a bayonet as an attachment, i was wondering does the bayonet do more damage than the regular kinife and gunbut? probably a stupid question kinda new here. ignore the grammar fail in the thread title lol.

whooaa, this is a new one.

Other questions besides damage:

  1. Does it knock you down?
  2. How does it affect your gun (what negative effect does it have)?

  1. It could that could be an added effect since it only been shown on the AR so far. or you couls chane melles entirelt to a shlashing or stabbing motion and have no knock down
  2. disadvantage, I would guess weight, unbalacning or less damage from bulles (just for balance.)

My guess for the disadvantage would be no knock down (just like the regular knife) just a thought though.

There’s already a topic about this a couple of pages in to the topics list.

I assume the bayonette just acts like the knife would with the pistol.

PRO - Allows you to cause damage.
CON - No knockdown, so you’re more vulnerable than your opponent when at close range.

Just to let you guys know. There is no bayonett. In the new leaked attachment preview, the bayonett was not in the list of bottom attachments. So no worries.

HOLY CRAP!!! Awesome find man…
I’m pretty sure it’s just a more powerful melee, similar to how the pistol has a knife, and the knife is more powerful than any other melee, the bayonet may be equivalent, to what I’m expecting or would presume.

to be fair, the Get SMART videos may not be the latest build, but something Bethesda thought was needed to help people over the learning curve. Although Brink may be SD’s most approachable game the curve is still way steeper than most recent releases
