how to transfer rank & ability-points to new character?

I’ve a question about starting a new build - not from scratch, this time - but based on a excisting build.

I searched in the game’s files for the profile of my excisting build (a full-blown Medic at lvl 24), but all I can find is some save-game in a format that I can’t do anything with.
Now I want to start building an Operative, but without to need to unlock all abilities from scratch.

Is there a way, to copy level + ability-points to a new character?
So that all I have to do, is to re-arrange all points, to have an instant fully-functional Operative…with all the goodies that I consider needed.
Looks & body-type will stay the same.

It would be awesome, if there is some kind of character-builder, with an import- and export-option.

…to clarify, if I start a new character ingame, only my weapon-unlocks are transferred over.

I want to transfer everything, and make it available for a new build.:tongue:

You can’t transfer abilities to a new char because they are locked at the level the char is on.

Ok, I understand that…been like that since release.

But I want to know if I can manually edit some file, to make a new build - lvl24 rank 5 - straightaway…only thing I have to do then, is to respec all abilities.
I’ll still loose 1pt, but I prefer that over going through that same levelling-up proces once again.
