how to ruin a very good game at the time of release

Dear SD,
i like this game very much. it has the potential to become what you wanted it to become.

So heres a hint how to avoid that and make it fail at release:

  • release it without the full maps. bring out the maps one by one
  • stick on the actual price model. sell mercs one by one for a hight price. keep merc rotaing.

in addition you could:

  • not make over the loadoutsystem. keep cosmetics and percs binded.

OR: ( just my point of view):

  • bring all maps on release and then new ones once in a time.
  • ajust the pricing model - both realbucks und ingame currency
  • divide cosmetics from percs. Sell cosmetics to the fan-boys and handle percs with the loadoutsystem.
    ( most of the other “minor issues” like individual balancing of mercs and stuff wont matter that much as the game itself compensates them.)

and … why not give the cusomer the chance to buy or trade for ingamecurrency any merc he wants from the beginning?
Keep the rotation of “free to play mercs” if you like but show all inactive mercs and and let the customer choose wichone he wants to invest money or time into. i dont think that the current system of offering the merc one by one is motivating to stick at the game but frustrating and make people quit.

I think you have the chance to have a great sucsess with this game so … plz dont mess up.

hopefully the 50k is for a new merc only and when the next one is rolled out bushy will be dropped to 30k. This type of stuff is nice to communicate to the community though; if Devs don’t say anything it just looks like one mean cash-grab.

Esp the real10$ price, sounds like it could be brought to 5-7$

That was my thought, just that it looked like a cash-grab. 50k is still a bit much for the current earn rate. The Daily reward credits could also use a bump. I understand if they want to keep it under a free case, but maybe something like 750ish. Or perhaps make the ones that reward gameplay (Waterboy and such) worth more than ones that just require certain mercs in your squad.

Ye same old missions,. thats bs they should just add more of them with lower earnings…
