How to rotate smoke ingame?

How do I change the angles of smoke while ingame?

I have it angled with info_notnull and now I want to trigger rotating it. I just can’t get this to work.

Do you know how to make regular brushes rotate around the origin. If you do maybe you could apply this to the info_notnull entity although I’m not sure if you can make entities rotate.

Sorry but target_smoke only sends particles up or down. You cannot make it go sideways.

Oh yes I can :slight_smile: , target an info_notnull to make it go sideways. :slight_smile:

What I want is to change that angle after spawn…

Heheh, we’ll I’m an idiot! I even remember dicussing this topic in previous threads…! :banghead: Somtimes the brain defaults to RTCW mapping mode, plz excuse me :banana:

One way you could accomplish this is by using the .script to toggle a bunch of target_smoke entities on/off. Each of those target_smokes would be connected to different info_notnulls, and thus you can control where the smoke “goes”.
