Wanna revive ranked?
Make a better tutorial that covers Proxy, Fragger, and Vasilli as well.
How about enlighten us about the ranked seasons duration and make people play for the trinkets?
Or do something about the “more than 30 minutes” queue time that is most likely discouraging everyone from queueing? that’s actually why i gave up on ranked for a few months, until someone said that we could even find games in around 5 minutes, which was true

I think the wait times are affected by how many people are playing, suffice to say the amount of people playing is affected by the wait times. Its an endless cycle.
If you want to revive ranked, you must start playing it, if you dont play it, you wont have ranked.
I could be wrong on that though, but the 4 or 5 games (maybe more) I played of ranked when it was first released it took around 5-10 mins. Although I was in gold placement but paired against colbalts who were 5 man stacking. Not a fun experience.
Triple credits and random bronze card drops seems too much. Double credits seem enough to me and bronze cards are just too much, maybe increased chance to get equipment case will be fine
Arsenal Crate drops is something the devs are already thinking about adding as far as I know. They probably need to do some math on how rare they will be and how the drops will work
The problem with ranked is that not enough players are searching for a match. It shouldn’t be an issue when the game is out of beta and becomes popular
I’d like to see more stuff added to ranked to make it more competitive, stuff like 1 merc limit (2 players on the same team can’t have the same merc in their squad)

that would necissite to increase the min lvl since actually a team can have 15 unique merc and in lvl 10 you wont get enough mercs to play they are more likely to be taken and it will be impossible for him to play (imagine someone took aura fargger and proxy but they are all taken so he cant play )
if the one merc rule could work that would need to have a bit different squad/mercs choice when starting a match ( having a picks turn per turn could work i think )

You will be required to have at least 15 mercs unlocked then (so you need to buy 13 mercs or if you are lucky, buy 10 and the free rotation will include mercs that you don’t own), and maybe increase the level requirement to 15. It’s amazing how many 10 hour players that have no idea how to revive as a medic play ranked.
Turn per turn could work, but they can also do who picks faster, so the team will have the list of all mercs (like in the barracks) and you can choose the mercs you want, if someone already picked a merc they will be blacked out and nobody on that team will be able to pick them unless you cancel your pick. Obviously team chat is a must and we will need 3 minutes to organize our team and all but those are the things SD has to think about. But I really wanna see the 1 merc limit in ranked and not only cups
These are all good suggestions to improve ranked but what really needs to be fixed first IMHO is matchmaking. Currently the outcome of most matches seems just random and mostly independent of your own skill and contribution. Even for 10000 credits I wouldn’t waste 15 to 30 minutes with the current imbalanced and frustrating borefest.
Hopefully the new matchmaking will be released soon, then I’ll definitely try ranked again.
Just a few ideas:
Give us casual 5vs5 Servers, so people get used to the Format.
Rewards: casual < Single/Duo < Team queue
I think it would be a good idea to make playing ranked a way to become more independent from Missions for more experienced players. Meaning if you sign in and you have a 1000 Credit execution Mission or any Mission you are not keen about, you wouldn’t blink twice and Start ranked.
For this the Double credits should continue, but there should be additional rewards you wouldn’t get in casual. This could be x weapon Kits after x wins, Special Skins, trinkets for being a good medic, engi, and so on.
In a nutshell: as soon as you have all mercs, there should be no reason to pick casual over ranked for Financial/progress reasons.
Additional there needs to be a Clan System, where you can check out Clans, See their members, How their last games went…
So people have something they want to take Part in.
I don’t think it will be saved because it’s mostly not even fair to start with. Ranked is a lottery, you either get good players, or you just don’t. Moving up a rank is almost impossible, as for every 1-2 win comes 1 lose. I don’t think ranking system takes anything player related into account. And is it even possible to find a match with 5 player party?
At least try to do this:
- Better rewards (credits aren’t enough)
- Make ranked from level 10, at least
- Or ban Vassili until lvl 10 and let the level requirement stay as it is
- Promote it more (add some online leaderboards, ranked events?, cookies)
