How to recognize bots and players?

(hawksking) #1

How do I know that the other player is a bot or a player? Is it the green verticle line in the scoreboard that tells if the player is actually another person? I totally hate the idea of not having lobbies. In my opinion the dev team exaggerated what bots in this game are, they are not as smart as us who can make mentle decisions.

Second question, how do I play with just players only and not bots.

Yes the bar next to the name is their ping. If they don’t have a ping they’re a bot.

To play without bots, you’ll need to join or start an OLD SKOOL or COMP game. Otherwise there are CVARs for it for if you’re hosting a listen server but you can go digging to find out how to change those.

Players have the “green vertical line” which represents their ping, and click on Freeplay underneath campaign, search for an internet game to play with people…
