How to play Sparks revivr rifle?

(GatoCommodore) #1

I cant reliably use her revivr rifle because it only has capacity to hold one fully charged shot and reviving people with full health is not that easy either because it only holds one Full Charge.

Holding full charge is very unadvisable since it will waste the charge.

is there any way to know the timing on when to release full charged shot?
any tips?

Listen revir and see sparks when it gets full charge.

If you have problems using her revifle try getting a card with quick charge, so you won’t have to hold the charge every time.
That, or simply do not hold the charge and train your trigger discipline with the revifle.

@GatoCommodore

Do you mean timing to predict enemy movement and quess when to start charging?

  • Watch spawn timer and peak corners before blast. Stay behind the group, so you can support them by discharging enemies and reviving teammates.

or…

Do you mean just charge timing, how to get rapid full charges without spending valuable revir energy?

  • You can hear differend sound when charge is full. You can also see this distinct electrical current sparking from the revir. Charge time is always same, so you can train muscle memory for it (depending if you have quick charge augment or not).

If a teammate is about to go down, start charging and release as soon as they die. If they’re already on the ground, charge as much as circumstances and nearby enemies allow and release.

Roughly this.
At worse, if no teammates are downed try to hit an enemy or deployable with it.

thats the tricky part, most of the time if theres no teammates in front its usually a teamwipe
cant really snipe beside teammate because if FF is on teammate could die

im really torn on how good is sparks and how limited in choices

Well, this can happen with any merc. If you’re afraid of harming or killing an ally, watch his health and prepare to revive him OR switch to your primary and help him (safer than a misplaced RevivR full charge  It happens to me in a ranked game, i tried to kill an enemy that was rushing us and ended up headshot killing the teammate who was delivering obj. It nearly cost us the victory :open_mouth: (we still managed to deliver later but that was close).

Why does her Revifle do Damage in ranked anyway. I mean the defibs don’t why would something that does the exact same except it’s long ranged.

(fryszopen) #11

Wait, defibs dont do damage on ranked? since whe?
And also, u cant compare the defibs with the revifle. The revifle is basically the only thing that stops spork from being extremely potato (which she is already)
