How to: Move up in Comp w/o friends

This is more of a “from my experience” list, but I feel it may help someone.

  1. Only play maps you are comfortable dealing with Pubs on. Personally, I stay clear of EV period. I don’t think Pubs understand what is even going on.
  2. Be comfortible with 1 Medic, FireSupport, and Engineer. And know which your team is falling short on. I find myself Medic> Engineer> FireSupport.
  3. Focus on your primary job. (Heal, supply, set charges, or repair) Do not go looking for k/d pad.
  4. Communicate. If you have a Mic, use it. Let your team know where enemies are, where your med station is, etc. A small chance that someone heeds your call is worth the effort.

And that is it folks. I’m lvl 10 and prolly have a 1.25 k/d average. I started silver 1 and now I’m Gold 3 and haven’t backtracked yet.
