i would like to aply some high weed/grass to my map…
and i mean high i would like it so only the players is visible from shoulders and up when standing… do anyone have this kind of shaders and models they could share??

Not if you copy the shader, make your edition of it without distancecull line.

stupid if it should disapear… it’s supose to be a hiding place 
just the 3rd time i give the map a go now… f… it up twice
but now i’ve learned… take BACKUP when finishing new stages… 
what cost most fps by the way? models or brushes?
RayBan made once new models for the grass with much less polycounts to save fps.
You can make grass with either 2 tris (one quad) or 4 tris (2 quads). Of course 2 quads works better from all angles.

4:20 just passed for me too, lol. Anyway… surface sprites may interest you. Create a single blade image or perhaps a small group of blades and use a surfacesprite.
