how to make a door open just by a button

Have a new question,how do I make a button that moves in while pushed and target a stonedoor to open?

allready tried to look at fueldump… but only got confused :slight_smile:

Well, yes and no… I imported the whole thing and renamed and retextured it…

the thing is the button wont show… ony the hint shows


But when I press “F” here the door actuay opens:


I am not quite sure why :smiley:

If I am quick at map start I find it floating around… then disapears…lol
this was in first pace ment to be a bit spooky map (come to this later) but this is just wierd…

It is moving inside the wall or just disappearing?

Maybe rotate it 180 and move it a bit forward, probably going to its initial state…

EDIT::o Really embarrassed… It was missing the origin brush…tada…( Stupid me)
well now the **** opens… but doesnt close… so I guess a typo somewhere… will check thru :smiley:

Something altered entity-wise, I had something similar when I tried to modify a temperate model to a snow model :stuck_out_tongue:

nah… Just me and the touchpad on computer… so suddenly without notice I was in the truck script writing something :slight_smile: turned it of now…
for some reason it doesnt seem like the door wants to close though… well it isnt the worst thing really ^^.
So back to detail stuff…props and stuff…
