Hi!
i get a funny message when I open my .map, in gtkRadiant.
(WARNING: Activate shader failed for textures/castle_wall/castle_c22b).
I think it is because I have used a texture for which there is no shader.
How can I find the texture in my -map world? (I want to delete it, and put in something else.) Ive looked everywhere! (maybe it isnt here?)
Is there a button/function in gtkradiant that I can use, to locate a specific texture?
AND, is there a way to locate entities/func groups? : I get another funny message when I compile (bsp)
Entity 164 (func_group) has shader index map “berserk_beta2.pcx”.
Hm, I have renamed the whole map, and all files nowadays, since Im on version 4. I guess I have to find entity 164, and press “n” and alter the values (to shader index map “berserk_beta4.pcx”)?.
Is there a way to find entities? If I want to locate this entity 164 (which seems to be a fund group - probably the terrain).
I have version 1.3.11.

There’s a replace textrue function in the texture menus. Simply enter the name of the texture giving you the erorr, then select another texture to use in it’s place from the browser. Try using a bright texture so you can see where it was easily and set a new texture to fit the theme.

hold control+alt and left click on the terrain; change the alphamap value accordingly
[edit]or you can just use shift like normal :disgust:
