How to load a ET map onto Radiant?

Hi,
I was wondering… Is it posible to load a map like Gold Rush or Siwa Oasis onto Radiant to modify them?

You only can load map-files into GTKRadiant.
But the game is shipped with bsp-files (the compiled map-files).
The exception is goldrush.
The goldrush map-file is shipped with GTKRadiant.

He means, that only the “source code” of GoldRush is available for public use.

Since you seem to don’t have any clue how that works: its like if you would try to open a bitmap(compiled map - .BSP) with notepad (Radiant, only can handle .MAP). :wink:

Is there any posible way to put them on radiant? Like maybe a program that converts them from BSP to MAP?

Use the search button above for “decompile”. From experience however, the resulting product doesn’t always capture everything that was in the map and is a pain in the ass to work with.
