How to link ....

Hi guys,

Im pretty new to mapping but have got certain bits sorted. I was wondering if any of you lovely people could tell me how to link a Dynamitable objective to a door opening?

e.g when something is blown up, it will open a door to reveal the objective.

You make the door the dynamatible objective, or you blow something else up and hide the door completely through scripting. (Setstate statement)

Yeah i thought about hiding the door but think it would be better to have it opening like a roller shutter door once the objective has been blown. Is there a way to do this?

i did it in my map u can use target_lock + unlock when blown up and then alertentity of the door.

After all that, i decided to link it to a function_explosive trigger of another objective (blow the generator and it blows the door aswell) Thanks for all your help though guys :smiley:
