How would I go about getting a big time server to run my map, I’v noticed that other maps like rhine and carnage are always on big servers.
My map is about 5 days away from release! I just need to know who to give it to or where to post it.
I posted the beta on pcgamemods.com (2226) but it only got played on 2 or 3 servers.
I finaly got my fps up a bit, but still needs some improvement, any ideas?
Theres a thread of servers and clans willing to test maps at the top, and if people like it they’ll stick it in their campaign when you post about its release.
It usually depends on the quality of the map… no?
It does now. The first few maps that came out got server time simply because there were no other maps around. Now a lot of maps are surfacing and there are some really promising ones on the way, so competition for server time is heating up.
Just make one hell of a map 
Or mmmm listen to the players needs.
Server admins and the players will find your map if its good enough and then it will be added to rotation.
I find that listening to players input is the one bigest thing that will make your map a hit.
while there are always those who will nit pic about somthing the majority of input you get will bet worth your consideration.
Let me know were to DL it…I run 5 servers and 2 are custom map servers only, they are waiting for new releases! both custom servers have a fast FTP attached to them…
