How to get rid of noob vassilis, and make them normal noobs.

Said tutorial would either consist of A.) shooting dummies or B.) a little educational video meant to show what happens if you stay in spawn/don’t use your spotting device as a sniper.

It would likely just be a shooting lane where you have to constantly throw your spotting device in order to keep your friendlies alive. You get SEEN notifications when you are in LoS of an enemy, and in order to get a high score you have to keep that notification down as low as possible.

Allies that get in LoS of an enemy would be downed in a couple of seconds, and then gibbed if left longer than that.

This is a perfect idea.
It should be done even without Vaseline being free. Perhaps a remake of all the merc-rolecalls to include something like this so people understand what to do
And also, add the merc rolecall video of any merc once you purchase them

Better solution (Although I am actually not 100% opposed to your idea), Use them delicious Min Level 20 servers, and let the real vasilli players show you how its done…by making you salty af.

heh, vassili only server, stopwatch, one team of min 20 snipers, and one team of people with less than 1 hour of vassili. make em RQ real fast >:)

SD needs a tutorial for every merc that shows what they specialize in and can do. How to play them properly and has you get involved in understanding it. The issue is that it needs to feel not like a tutorial and more like a mission to understand the merc, doing that is very hard and honestly I have no idea where to start with that idea.

(the assault course SD made is a good idea for a tutorial on advanced movement)

Yeah, and make the mission mandatory before buying him. Maybe not for everyone, just for <lvl15 buying him with credits?

Extra Credits goes into depth about making good tutorials, the question is how do we set up each tutorial for each merc?

(Your worst knifemare.) #28

@sgtCrookyGrin For the start of the turtorials they should put “-Merc name- and how to do his/her job” in big bold letters with the picture of the merc in the backround.

Not a bad start.

I’ve been wondering about setting up individual courses for each one, like the assault course.

Except instead each one is designed for each merc like it’s a practice session they go through.
