I’ve never had a time where i’ve been flash and killed when it could have just as easily been a frag nade. I personally feel the merc is fine in that it has it strengths and weaknesses based on what map and what sort of location they’re fighting in. Similar to rhino, in that regard.

Some situations favor him, and a lot don’t. Leave him as-is.

@THUNDA I agree the cooldown needs to be raised, and that the MK46 started to perform better since the conc buff. My Kills/min was 2.4 before buff. Now it is 3.2. That is a massive difference. I think that was what SD intended, but truly the only reason the MK 46 has such a high Kills/min is because of the concs, and if it was on fragger it would be much worse due to its 1v1 potential being horrible because of its poor accuracy when initiating in a firefight. I think a slight accuracy buff, along with a cooldown nerf of the conc would make Thunder balanced, and an extremely viable merc at the same time.

@THUNDA That’s very cool, you were Korean arty hahaha.

My performance increased with the mk46 after the conc buff too so what you say makes sense. I like @Eox 's idea the most, of giving the conc nade the same cooldown and cooking as a frag.

Maybe you can nullify the concussion effects a little bit if you turn around. Something like no blurry screen. Give thunder the advantage if he can cook his nade and successfully concuss you but still have a fighting chance (if you turn around in time).

flashbang effect is something that makes me think of quitting the game everytime. Its unfun mechanic and should be removed from the game. It has a really short cd and whenever I see thunder I can be assured to be flashed all the time, removing the ability to actually play the game as flash is an instant death, no matter what you do.
