It can limit the light bleeding issue.
In some other cases, it can be the compiler, Q3Map2 itself 
Try:
Make the walls/roof/floor thicker
Group the brushes
Turn the brushes structural
Add trim over it

Allready made an skybox called “city” will release it on modernetfront later on as this fits modern maps
