“How to get the most credits per minute: spend some money.”

If you can, that’s the best way, as everyone involved in the game benefits (player, developer, publisher, etc)

Find 9 friends
Go to empty server
Plant/defuse bomb on 30 minutes stopwatch

GG.

doesn’t sound veyr efficient, considering only one bomb can be planted/defused at a time.

Seems to me with 9 people 4 peoplle in each team can farm kills, and one person can farm revives.

If my calculations are right then personally I need around 170 (with an average match time of 10 mins) random played objective matches for 50k credits.

So no matter what tricks you have, farming credits “faster” becomes pretty relative^^ Even if you use a booster, its only double the credits. For the best booster available: In 18 hours you could play 72/15 min. objective matches (which isnt possible practically), lets say you get 300 points each, with booster 600. Still makes only 43200 credits. This can be called “fast” I guess. Ok 300 average credits for full objective matches might be too low.

Note: My average credits per match are after 33 matches, 294 credits.

I apologize in advance for necroing this thread, but I just saw this response.

YES, it’s pretty relative, and I think getting credits is slow inherently. However, like any free to play game, the in game currency will be much harder to “farm up” than just spending the actual cash for items -which imo, is fine as the devs DO need some money to help support the game, so I’m fine with how the in game purchases are right now. I mean it’s such a great game, players spend hours at a time playing this game a day (or when they can) and in return, the devs should get SOMETHING, right?

That all said, I HAVE unlocked 3 mercs by credits already… in some ways i think by having credits hard to come by, it adds “content” through that feeling of progression. If everyone could unlock a new merc pretty fast, I would say the game would wear out pretty quick. I think right now it’s a healthy balance but hey, just one man’s opinion

Glad you asked! I’ve been posting pretty regularly for Dirty Bomb… without sounding too self promoting, I’ll include my channel here so you can see more of my content, since you asked  Suggestions for future videos are more than welcome.

12 credits per minute is the base fee. This is why credit booster is utterly pathetic. That’s 12 * 60 = 720 per hour. 69 hours to unlock a merc from base fee alone.

$8 for 18 hour booster is the most efficient one. Normally, it gives you up to 18 * 60 * 12 = 12960, minus time spent in lobby etc. On a double credit weekend, the benefit is 2 times that (because you would get 2x that anyway), which is up to 25920. So if you buy two biggest credit boosters and play them over two double weekends, you will unlock an extra merc. $16 for 50000 credits. Why not just get one for $10 ?

As you know, that’s why you can’t factor in base credit gain when looking at how fast it is to get a new merc. To farm credits efficiently in regards to your personal time played you need to not worry about base credits and simply go for doing missions as efficiently as possible and timing your play around those. You can game the system pretty easily by starting when you play at certain times to get your 3 missions done then get 3 more nearly instantly. Which can earn you more credits than somebody who played longer but at the wrong time. So if you are worried about credit gain rates doing that will drastically increase how much you earn compared to your time spent playing. Doing this can net you in the neighborhood of 6-9k credits (guestimate) for 1.5-2 hours of play time depending on the missions you get. If you can pull that off fairly often, and even sometimes twice in a day on a really boring night/weekend, you will be swimming in credits.

Of course not everyone has time to do that but if you do it’s the most efficient way to get a large amount of credits somewhat quickly from what I’ve seen.

Remember that he was talking about credit boosters being useless.
