How to do lightm. terrain with a stretched cloud texture ?

Hello ,

i wonder how to do lightmapped terrain with moving clouds shadows on it ( like the maps TA came up with). But the cloud-shadow texture needs to be stretched (while the actual floor texture , ie sand , is NOT).

With the old style compiler i just did it with tcmod scale , but this doesnt work anymore.

This is also an issue if i want to blend between textures that should have a different scale. I tried to use 2 baseshaders , 1 for the texture that i want to be repeated often ( detailed ) and one i want to be stretched. It didnt do anything tho.

I used the search function and didnt find an answer …
while reading infos on another subject i found the solution tho ^^

Now the textures are -all - mapped -smoothly- again .

I wonder about the difference between tcmod scale and tcgen technical wise tho. Not urgent as i can do smooth terrain again , but if someone has a link or something … it would be nice :slight_smile:
