How to deal with abuse...

So normally when I play I do every so often encounter people who say I use aimbot etc. but now it seems to be getting worse. Last week I was in a min level 10 lobby where almost everyone said I was hacking however I let it slide as a one off, but now today I think it’s gone too far. People were saying things like “I hope you get cancer” and “I want to kill you” constantly throughout my stopwatch game. Obviously it doesn’t hurt my feelings too much but its just really sad that this happened on a min level 10 especially as some of the messages were from players over level 30.

So is there anything I can do about things like this or do we just have to cope with abusive messages…?

I don’t see anything wrong with hackusation. I actually love it when people think I’m cheating.

But if it’s too serious it’s considered harassment, considering you even have a screenshot you can easily report them so SD can deal with it

@frostyvampire I do like it but when they do it constantly throughout numerous games and then start shit talking you on the mic it isn’t exactly fun anymore.

You have many choices here, but the basic ones I know of is:

Follow Swagism (the philosophy of Sir Swag) and “Make them scrubs sit the fk down with your plays!” Fear is created, but respect is earned. Insult with words, and you’ll find no result, prove yourself, and they’ll shut up, because they’re all meritocratic pigs.

Switch to a Medic, and make them beg for your mercy as they writhe in pain. This is known as “blackmail bureaucracy” or abbreviated to “Obamacare”.

Be the nicest, most polite and mature person you can be, and politely discuss to them regarding your team asset, and that you are sorry if you cause them inconvenience. This is a part of the Canadian Creed, and is a secular form of “Ideal Christianity”. It may seem passive, but give it enough time and therapy sessions, and we might make our volatile, radioactive, cancerous community, slightly less toxic.

Just ignore it or hit them with a “u mad bro?” It’s only a problem when you’re getting vote kicked out regularly. Actually that was part of the reason I stopped playing DB for a while. Hasn’t been much of a problem since eac though. I guess people have more faith in the system now.

I’ve had people report me in Ranked multiple times… And not just low bronze players, but a few golds. I’m only Silver Master and nothing special, but I’m decent at Kira. Normally one laser=3-4 kills. Had a guy report me for “laser cooldown” LOL. Also had a few report me or hassle me for multiple headshots in a row (although this is rare for me because my accuracy is 29%)!

First STOP F@#$%^& HACKING!!! Lol just kidding im a potato againat any one above level 20 but i can wreck noobs of < level 7. Ive been called a hacker plenty of times by noobs mostly when im playing phantom using right mouse mele with kitana, and some times the stars align and my brain and hands work together i get called a hacker using vasilli. As sniper is only class i can seem to get a 90% or higher head shot succes rate

Second on a serious note i think you should ignore it. Let them say what they want. Karma will happen and karma can be a B!@#$.

Oh and its ultra funny when a level 4 acuses the whole team 20+ of hacking

Had time to read your proof and as soon as physical violence is brought up thats a whole new ball game. Thats beyond abuse and there should be a report function and depending o n the threat a temp ban to full ban should be in place.
