How to create a clan.

Hi guys, excuse my ignorance, im attempting to start a team and am having trouble figuring out how to start an official clan - can someone let me know how to go about doing it?

get something like teamspeak 3 then get a website then make a recruitment topic and start recruiting ask in game if people wanna join your clan

Thank you Optcal, i appreciate your post…however that’s not exactly what i meant. I was under the impression that i could actually “Create a clan” ingame where i could actually create a clan and invite members to join my roster. I’ve accumulated some knowledge since my post and im pretty sure thats not possible. I hope its something that is changed in the future. By creating official clans with recognized rosters we could clan match and actually be awarded wins and losses correctly.

Sadly this option has been removed. You can only edit your SteamName to add a clan tag.

However. I know that they want to return the clan tags, they just don’t know how as for now.

Stay tuned! They will try and get this as “new” feature out as soon as they can!

in console u can type "setclantag " en then your clantag

It works. You simply just have to write the command when you are in game (in a party with players, on a map, not on the lobby/main menu.)
