How to change F keys? (F1, F2, F3 etc)

My keyboard uses these keys for adjusting sound and I was wondering how I can change these keys (the keys to change merc) to something else.

There is a setting in “Settings>Controls>Keys” At “Game” where you can change the Character selection. i dont know if the vote system gets changed aswell.

I changed the F1…F3 keys , but it is buggy. Sometimes, I still need to use the old F1…F3 binding to select a merc between spawns, for some reason. Also, it screwed the voting and I can’t vote anymore.
A fix would be much appreciated, at some point.
